Our server Ruth provided excellent service (very helpful and courteous with us and other patrons) The breakfast was tasty, well portioned and presented beautifully. The google review overall score should better reflect how well this establishment operates.
Visited this beautiful place with my friend for lunch. The waitress was great and the food was tasty. The Salmon is great!
Decided to eat here since we were staying at the hotel. Service was very good. After ordering steaks all around and all at different cooking variations, mine kept having to go back. Our waiter that night was wonderful about the entire thing. He made sure each time to wait for me to check if it was to my liking. He made some very good suggestions for menu choices and was just a joy to have waiting on us. The food was pricey but, so very worth every penny. The cook(s) deserve(s) alot of credit for that wonderfully prepared meal and thank you for letting me send it back to have it fixed to my liking. I greatly appreciate your efforts that night. Oh and those Mango Coladas were the best drink I have had in a long time. Thank your staff for helping make sure we had a memorable experience (on the 17th of Nov), it was just part of a nice weekend away.

Popped in for a quiet lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Best Tuscan soup I’ve ever had. And the Blackhawk salad was amazing too.
We arrived in a huge group on a tour bus during a tornado and a flood watch, and unexpectedly our entire group had to stay at the hotel to dine that night. We filled up the entire restaurant, almost every seat. The host welcomed us all with a huge smile and kind words, and made all of us feel welcome. I told her I knew she wasn’t expecting all of us, and I apologized for descending upon her the way we did. She didn’t miss a beat and told all of us that she was so happy we were there, and that she couldn’t wait to make us feel welcome. Within minutes we all had menus, ice water, and some of the most delicious bread and butter I’ve ever had. We got to sit by our friends, no fuss was made, and the ladies that waited on us moved like a well oiled machine taking our orders and bringing our hot food and delicious drinks. I’m bad with names but the host had reddish blonde hair and the other two were a short blonde and a long brown ponytail. There was also a man who was bald who appeared out of nowhere and brought us water and he was so charming. The lady in charge of it all knows what she is doing and has a great team. My table was happy and I think the entire tour bus was pleased as well. Beautiful hotel and beautiful night.
I stopped in for breakfast while staying in this amazing hotel, The Black Hawk Hotel. The waitress was very friendly. I ordered the omelette with ham and Swiss cheese. This was a phenomenal value for the large portions. The omelette had chunks of delicious ham and gooey Swiss cheese. The hash browns were crisp and the English muffin was toasty. The whole breakfast was only 14.00 and I took half of it back to the room for the following day. Nice atmosphere to start my day.
Great meals. Has outdoors seating which is nice especially for the summer. I like the menu on the iPad which give u a good picture of the food and what it is it. Service was very prompt and food was well seasoned
The service was outstanding, the food was delicious and the desserts are decadent. We really enjoyed the electronic menus it was nice. You could click on the dish and actually see a picture with a detailed description.....A+ highly recommend.
The food and service were outstanding. The server knew about all the dishes we asked about and had details about the cocktails and champagne. He also was well versed in the hotel and surrounding area. From the appetizer to salad to our steaks everything came out as ordered and was delicious. Highly recommend!
